WhatsApp is working to improve cross-device support for WhatsApp Web/Desktop, the company is also launching a public beta program to get feedback, WABetainfo reported Saturday.
WhatsApp Web’s public beta program will allow users to try out new features. Users can join the beta program by installing the beta version of WhatsApp, available for Windows and macOS.
As a beta tester, users will receive all beta updates automatically, eliminating the need to manually reinstall the app whenever there is a new update.
The most updated beta is 2.2133.1 right now.
Beta testers will be able to test new experiences while recording voice messages, for example, the ability to listen to voice messages before sending them. The feature is already under development on WhatsApp for Android and iOS.
